Housing for all is a right not a privilege. One of the number one contributors to recidivism is an ex-offenders inability to obtain stable housing. We take that out of the equation by providing transitional housing while they get the services they need towards self reliance.
Successful transition into society is greatly dependant upon one's ability to earn a livable wage. Our partners, educators and counselors are there to educate in job and employability skills to help our participants towards self-reliance.
Many ex-offenders and homeless have not received a diploma from high school. Our counselors and educators work with each individual in helping them get their GED and go further in their education if they so desire.
It is never too late to learn life skills. They are essential to having a balanced lifestyle. Everyone needs a set of core life skills (or, adult capabilities) to manage work, family, and relationships successfully. Everyone who comes through our House is assited in developing their core life skills.
Through our partnerships with various organizations who are on a mission is to help those with substance abuse issues overcome the chains and bondage of substance addiction to a pathway of recovery, we are able to provide assistance when needed.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a difference.
